Origins on the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity + the Theme for 2021

On today’s podcast I discuss the origins of the Week of Prayer of Christian Unity (context article below) and the theme for 2021 ‘abide in my love and you shall bear much fruit (cf. John 15: 5-9).

The theme comes from the community of Grandchamp, a monastic community that brings sisters from different churches and countries.

They went through a multi-month process to discern the theme for 2021. A brief write-up of the theme and its process is also below.

I discuss all this and how it might relate to our current moment and more.
